This may be too obvious, but has anyone written the manufacturer and said "hey, we're a bunch of homebrew developers and we'ld love to write games to run on your machine, which might even help you sell more of them. Would you be willing to give us the technical info we need, which is ..."?
Of course reverse engineering may be more fun, but tell me someone has at least tried asking once???!
I have done that, and as usual with these kind of request, haven't gotten any response at all --Sprite_tm
I would try it, but I only speak english. -Pat
I definitely would like to buy this, very very cheap for what you get. but i would like to know if it can come with a US plug, and it says you can put nes and gb games on is that true? The power adaptor depends on what model you get, I got an american one (being European) but it supported 240V so I could use it with a simple adaptor. You can also use a PSP charger as well. (this is with sku 9504 @ dealextreme). All of them can play NES games, if you get a 3052 one it can also play GB, GBC and BIN (as the proof of concept) games.
Unfortunately not all devices with the 3052 can play .bin games. Seems to depend on the firmware.
